The Wolves we Feed. This is where the journey begins!

Many years ago, I stumbled upon an old documentary film—one that, quite unexpectedly, would come to influence me far more deeply than I ever imagined.

It told the story of two brothers whose lives shaped the fate of countless people in ways both extraordinary and devastating.

The documentary itself was woven from interviews with family members, acquaintances, and friends—voices that, by now, have mostly fallen silent with time.

Albert and Hermann grew up side by side, in the same home, under the same influences. And yet, as adults, they became diametrical opposites.

One brother would one day be remembered as one of the darkest and most malevolent figures in modern history.

The other—far less known, but no less dramatic—used his name, his wealth, and every ounce of influence he possessed to rescue as many people as humanly possible from death.

His bravery came at a terrible price.

A death penalty order was eventually issued against him.

The command was chillingly simple:

If discovered, he was not to be questioned—only shot on sight.

Forced into hiding, he found refuge in a cave. Not a safe haven, but a raw, cold, damp cavern that slowly destroyed his health and left lifelong scars.

The more I learned, the more obsessed I became with their story.

How could two brothers, raised in the same home, choose such completely different paths?

My research inevitably led me deeper—not just into their lives, but into the family they came from. What I discovered there was as astonishing as the brothers themselves.

In this first volume of a planned trilogy, I turn my attention to the roots of their story: their upbringing, their parents, the hidden dynamics that shaped them.

Are there clues buried there?

Could it be that this family, in its own struggles and contradictions, mirrors the broader drama that would eventually shape Europe and the Western world?

These questions—fascinating, disturbing, and urgent—became the foundation for my book.

The result is the first volume in a trilogy titled:

The Wolves We Feed

Subtitle: “The Road to the Mist of Oblivion”

This is where the journey begins.
